K2

K2 is 8611 meter high which makes it the 2nd highest mountain in the world. It is located in Kashmir in Pakistan on the border with China. And even though Everest is higher, K2 is considered the harder climb.

After my first attempt on K2, I’ve been invited by Victor Saunders and Doug Beall to join a new K2 expedition in 2011.  In the course of the next months, I will discuss our plans in more detail with Victor. More news about this possible second attempt will be announced via this website.
